    Project Description

    The water transfer project from the Safarood Dam to Kerman has been completed with a tunnel of 38 km. In this project, TBM has been exploited to drill a water tunnel from the Amir Kabir Dam. The device averages between 15 to 20 mm per minute to be drilled tunnel. The diameter of the machine is four meters and 66 cm but the diameter of the finished tunnel after the installation of the ring, diameter of the tunnel is three meters and 90 cm. Materials have also been transported through the conveyor belt.

    With the implementation of this Project, per second, 21 m³ of water will enter the city of Kerman, Equivalent 21,000 liters, which will eliminate the problem of drinking water in the city of Kerman in the medium term.
